Provide legal direction and advice to Soldiers and their families, on a broad range of issues including family law, consumer law, estate planning and other legal and non-legal matters.
Render assistance to pro se litigants. Prepare legal articles for publication.
- Oversee and manage the SRP (Soldier Readiness Program) which provides legal services to troops processing to deploy overseas.
- Provide instruction to Soldiers and civilians on legal subjects affecting the military community.
- Authored the first standard operating procedure for keystone activity of the legal assistance function
the Soldier Readiness Program (SRP). Results: a formal, structured program offering seamless integration of temporary legal assistance augmentees and robust continuity as new attorneys and paralegals provide service at the site.
- Completely reorganized and upgraded attorney work product database and standardized office electronicdocument filing system. Results: easier access to historical records and use of existing documents as templates
for the creation of new attorney work-product.
- Developed system to capture metrics of SRP activities.
Results: accurate and relevant information, readily available to better analyze the support offered to the
war fighter as well as determining what services offered are being utilized.
